The Creativity Of A Teacher


Teaching English requires a high creativity that is relevant, interesting, enjoyable, and ease student’s comprehension. According to Brown (2007:100), “The relevant creativity gives positive contributions to the students behaviorism changing in mastering English that they learn.” Moreover, Nunan (2014:1000) said that the creativity of the students can be stimulated by teacher’s creativity model in the language learning process. On the other hand, Richard (2008:53) said, “Whatever the creativity level of teachers that is applies must give positive contributions to the learning achievement. In short, a high creativity is no need and not a must. So that, the teacher’s creativity is always needed whatever its level, and becoming an important aspect to improve students learning achievement as long students can follow the process nicely

The First Thanksgiving

The sentences;
1. A modern thanksgiving which is similar to the first thanksgiving origins from the English colony of Massachusetts that celebrated almost four hundred years ago.
2. A religious group from England, namely Pilgrims arrived in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620.
3. The Pilgrims appeared in the new world because they brought a new religion which was different from the main religion in England.
4. A very hard winter made almost half of the Pilgrims’ group died.
5. They died because of hunger, cold, and diseases.
6. During the next year, the Indians of Massachusetts helped the Pilgrims' group.
7. The Indians taught the newcomers how to hunt, to grow corn, and to survive in the new world.
8. The Pilgrims had enough food supply for the next winter.
9. They were grateful for having a feast to give thanks.
10. They shared food and friendship with the Indians whom invited to the feast.
11. A modern thanksgiving is similar with the first thanksgiving in spirit, but difference in food.
12. Today, Americans eat Turkey. However, the Pilgrims and Indians ate deer.
